Our Clients: EOCM manages investments primarily for state and local pension systems and large endowments through three primary energy equity investment vehicles: Energy Opportunities Original Strategy, Energy Opportunities Alternatives Strategy, and Energy Opportunities Customized Strategies. These strategies are managed through a separately managed account structure enabling our clients to maintain custody of the assets under our management.

Our Competitive Advantage: The Energy Opportunities strategies began in October 2000 as a joint venture between two specialized firms, Simmons & Company International (a leading investment banking firm serving the energy industry and established in 1974) and Orleans Capital Management (a privately held investment advisor serving the pension, endowment and trust markets and established in 1991). The portfolio managers came out of these organizations, bringing a wealth of investment experience and energy knowledge to the implementation of the Energy Opportunities strategies. Moreover, EOCM remains closely linked to its Member organizations, drawing on the expertise within them.
